What is some of your Pet Peeve's

We had a dump to drop off in MA at near my uncles place.
I am sure it's still there with a topping of dirt.

We would find barbed wire everywhere in the forest back from before WW1, really old stuff and still nasty.
We had a small glass making building (only the base stones left. With lots of broken and deformed blue glass.

Towns used to dump it over the banks into the river, along with their sewerage. Then the next town downstream would use it for drinking water!

And industry would do the same, nothing like a tannery or paint manufacturer with a pipe to the river.

Homeowners that use the cheapest plumbing fixtures they can to make something look newer and modern adding aesthetic not functional value. Another recent peeve to add to it is taking a shower after a long day and the down spout coming out of wall flush with tile connected to shower head broke off. Sosome soapy inappropriate four letter words later I ended up buying some new tools, pipe dope, a new down spout and shower head finally washed day old soap off.

Seems like my new pet peeves come in waves of 3-4 incidents at a time.

Job applications; list all of this on your resume, now fill out this application that lists the same thing, now, fill out this form, asking the same questions again...

I usually just wrote "see attached resume" on the application form. Those application forms are required by HR to document contact info and references, etc. But I've never been interviewed by someone who actually cared what I wrote on the job history portion of the form.

And for past salary, I always leave that blank. Screw them, they don't need to know what I made 25 or even 5 years ago. They either want me at the rate I require today, or they do not want me at the rate I require today. Period.

Just like any Dr office, fill out the form than at least 2 people ask you all of the questions again.....

Knowing a huge fraction of the people they deal with everyday are so brain dead, that they'll give different answers verbally than they just wrote on a form 90 seconds prior, I don't blame them as much for this one. :p
