I am close to buying a BX22 for mowing, maintaining my gravel driveway, snow removal, and light loader work. I am planning on the BX22 with loader and hoe, back blade, 4 position valve on front, grill guard, 60"MMM, and turf tires. Also tooth bar and hooks for the loader, a hook on the hoe. Am I missing anything i'll regret? How about remotes on the back? Is a block heater needed? Thanks for the help.

In your location, a block heater would be a great idea unless you are able to keep the tractor inside during the winter. It sounds you have thought of most other things.

you may have traction problems in some situations with the turf tires. they tend to load up and act like slicks in muddy dirt and snow. I purchased mine with the r4 bar tires, this was the right choice for me.

Ditto on the block heater and bar tires.

Don't forget to buy a set of filters (fuel, oil, hydro) and the appropriate oils to keep on hand. You'll need them to do the 50 hour service and they're good to keep in case you damage a filter, etc. Make sure you have a good grease gun and high pressure grease too.

Larger alternator if you plan to add lights, which you will and if you ever add cab?. Also service manual is a good thing, extra blades for the deck, loaded tires?

Good luck.
