What implement to use first

I have to clean up about 1 1/2 acres or so of hilly ground to put in grass. The ground was covered with trees previously so there is still a lot of small twigs, branches, and roots. Any suggestions on what to use first. I don't own anything but a box blade. I have access to other implements such as a lawn rake. I will be the proud owner of a new 790 on Tuesday. Thanks.

See if you can rent a 3PH root/rock rake. That should clean up the loose stuff real nice . Good luck with your new tractor !

Is that root/rock rake also called a power rake? Or is it a heavier landscape rake?
