What I would like to see Kioti do!!

i put a block heater in mine, it works great!

they need to scrap the current steering system in the 45 and make it so the wheels can be turned on the tractor when you have some weight in the bucket.

iv'e had more close calls than i care to remember from only being able to turn the wheels when the tractor is in motion.

Here is what I would like: Ihe ignition key in a different location, Mine has been bent so many times I'm waiting for it to break off, I keep hitting it with my foot every time I get off. I would like a timer for the glow plugs related to the outside temp, and a block heater. I use mine to plow snow in the winter and it starts like S--t when cold. So far that's it. An on line parts service would be nice but I haven't needed any parts yet so ?

I just replaced my ignition switch. It had been damaged before I bought the tractor. It cost about $24.00 and took me 5 minutes to replace. Not to say they should not move it. Just that if you do break it, it won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Where did you get the block heater and is it a stock Kioti part?

as i recall id did a search for block heater and ended up ordering one for a 1 1/2" hose.

as far as i know kioti doesn't make one.

I just used mine today to set 50 sheets of OSB plywood with my pallet forks. The wheels turned very easy while setting still at idle. Had so much weight I had to use 4x4 to move because the back end was so light that the tractors rear tires would just set and spin. I was very impressed in the way the tractor handled that much weight. Saved us alot of work getting the sheets up on the roof.

if you had 1000lbs or so on the back then i'd guess they fixed the problem with the 45's with the new S model.

with no weight on the back you'd be very limited on what you could pick up.

I did not have anything hooked on to the back. If I was going to move the plywood a long distance I would have put something on. At idle the loader rolled the whole pile back all the way. I thought that was impressive as well. I guess the rollback issue has been improved as well.

I don't know if you're aware of it, but there is a manual position on the ignition for running the glow plugs for a longer time. After the timed session turns off, just turn to glow plug setting again for whatever time you may need to warm it a little more. Should start better after that.

I got some PowerService brand diesel fuel additive today to run in my orange CK30HST to combat the lo sulfur diesel-itis
in greater WA state. The bottle claims to raise cetane by 4 numbers thereby improving cold starting, smoke output, economy, etc. Lo sulfur diesel fuel is anti- lubricant concerning injectors and pumps. Maybe it'd help??
