Hmmm... I'd pay to see a CK20 do 10 seconds in the 1/4 mile! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

And to get back on topic... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I would like to see Kioti implement clutchless powershuttle trannies in the CK and DK series along with the HST for the DKs. Kubota and NH have HST budget machines, so I'd like to see Kioti put a HST in the LK3054. Maybe they could also, for the CKs and DKs, match 'em up with curved boom hoes (as well as curved FELs for the new DKs). I'd like to see them make a further refined TLB package to compete with the L39 and 110. A SubCUT to compete with the TLB and non-TLB versions would be nice. I would like to see them move the CK25 powerplant on down to the CK20 size frame. They could then release a CK35. If this conflicts with DK35 too much, they could nix that and replace it with DK40. The LB1914 is fine for now for being the budget workhourse it is. One thing I would really like to see is a front differential lock for the CKs and DKs (and hypothetical TLB machine like L39 & 110). For the HSTs, if they continue with the treadle pedal, they should at least move the brakes to the other side so differential braking would be possible.

I know I don't own a Kioti, but I've studied them enough to get a good feeling for the brand. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hey now, lets not be nixing one of the best tractors in their lineup, the DK 35 /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
They can add hydro or powershift to the DK 35, but no nixing !!! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I posted in the orginal post that I do not know if they even make new DK 40's and 50's. I thought for sure a dealer would have said yes or no, but no such luck. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

If Kioti does not make them (40 & 50), I say good. I would discontine those models if they do make them. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

lol! I said if it conflicts with the DK35. That's up to Kioti to decide, not me. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I noticed that Cub Cadet no longer lists the 40hp 8000 series. It looks like Daedong nixed it.

Per Kioti.com regarding the DK50.......
DK50 (DK50C) have been discontinued and the remaining DK50’s are field inventory only.

Differential braking is possible by setting the cruise control and separating the brake pedals..... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Don, theoretically this is possible, but it's not very practical in actual practice. I've tried it, and it's just too much trouble. Not only that, even hitting the one brake just doesn't work all that well as it drags the RPM down too much. Also, if one were to have a surprise pop up, he or she would have to think quickly to hit the other brake (one brake disengages, the other doesn't) or move the lever to disengage the cruise.
If people really need differential braking, having the brakes on the left side would be a better way to go on the CKs in my opinion.

( I am in the process of rebuilding an engine on a 1995 LK3054. The parts were readily available and inexpensive. I wish people new that. I have read a lot of posts where parts availability scared potential customers away and that is a shame.)

You bring up a good point..
This was brought up again recently by a New Holland tractor owner in the Main buying /pricing section of this site. Stating how you can't get parts and/or service on a Kioti tractor.
I read it time and time and time again. Yet I have owned a DK 35 for several years now and I have NO problems getting parts or service.
I think I'm finished venting now !!

I have a DK-45 with 50 hours on it.
Here is what I would like: Ihe ignition key in a different location, Mine has been bent so many times I'm waiting for it to break off, I keep hitting it with my foot every time I get off. I would like a timer for the glow plugs related to the outside temp, and a block heater. I use mine to plow snow in the winter and it starts like S--t when cold. So far that's it. An on line parts service would be nice but I haven't needed any parts yet so ?

Yes! I can't believe I forgot that one. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif I've since purchased one for mine, but have not installed it. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
