First off let me say I think they are heading in the right direction! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I just want to add to it, or maybe push it ahead a little. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think the new DK series look great, (better than mine). 45,55, and 65, but it is time for the 35. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif All 4 models need curved loaders to match the tractor lines.

I would like to see a cab option on all 4 models. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif All 4 models also need the lever on the rear to raise and lower the hydraulics. This should be standard. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I would also like to see a front locker standard on all 4 models, along with moving the loader joy stick to the fender like the CK's.

Now for a few more options: 1) Offer as an option a 16x16 fully syncro tranny, and or hydro on all the DK's! 2) Maybe just on the 55 and 65 offer as an option more hydraulic flow. I think these would be terrific starting points!!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif 3) Offer 2 rear lights. 4) Kioti needs to bring back as an option the wide ag tires. I don't know why this was taken away. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I like how they have moved the headlights up in the front. I think mine are to low to start with, especially with the bucket on.

Do they even make new DK 40's and 50's?

I'm sure as others chime in, there will be more that I have left out. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Kioti, you are heading the right way, I'm just trying to help it out! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm all for rear lights and front locking diff on all models. I think the 4x4 selector on CK models is a bit inconvienently located/ difficult to engage if I were nit picking.

Lubricating the linkage with either PB Blaster, or aerisolized oil will help make the shifting easier. Also, there are times when it's necessary on most 2/4 WD levers where you move a little forward/backward to get the lever to engage/mesh.
Some recommend that you lift the front of the tractor slightly with the loader if available to make it easy to shift. I don't mind the location on my CK20 much, after all, it's not a huge tractor and has limited available space. The electronic button engagements are nice, but I'm happy to have manual for myself.

I agree with this statement whole heartedly and is one of the reasons I went with Kioti over Kubota. These are tractors, meant to be used and abused and worked. I wanted a simple, big (as in heart), beefy, durable tractor with as few electronic components and safety interlocks as absolutely possible. I want this thing to be around and still working in 30-40 years and I want to be able to get parts. I most definitely would have ruled out Kioti if it had had wires runnning all over it for various unnecessary reasons.

I'm not aware of a Kubota that uses electronic engaugement for anything. Pretty well everything is mechanical. The L30-series PTO switch is electric, but thats hydraulicly driven.

My comment was based more on safety interlocks than electronic engagement of stuff. Really the only safety interlock on my CK20 is that the clutch pedal has to be depressed to start it... other than that, its clean as a whistle.

And thank goodness you do not have to be setting on the seat to keep it running. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm a little shocked at the amount of responses to this thread. People must not want to change anything on their tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I am in the process of rebuilding an engine on a 1995 LK3054. I wish they would have more parts information on-line. I had to purchase a parts book and call a dealer 2 states away. I am in Nashville,TN. The parts were readily available and inexpensive. I wish people new that. What I am saying is that they should offer on-line parts support until there dealer network grows. They could still require you to purchase thru a dealer and that is fine. I have read a lot of posts where parts availability scared potential customers away and that is a shame. I have found the parts to be shockingly inexpensive especially compared to the Kubota I did own.

I wish they would start offering factory cab kits for the CK line! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Although I currently own a CK30 HST, I would probably trade up in a heartbeat for a DK45 if it had HST and curved loader arms. The only change that I would like to my ck30 would be the 3pt level adjuster on the back for implement attachment. I also prefer the loader on the fender on the ck's. And now that I think of it, I do wish it was much easier to refuel than way up on top of the hood, and since this something that is used all the time (diesel) and not just once a year, I think that is my biggest gripe about my tractor.
