Bavarian, I'm interested in your "final regeneration" process.
I was under the impression that the tractor won't run correctly without "some" restriction in the DPF?
Did the reprogramming first. And then gutted out the DPF.
There are a few tuners around but only one of those that I found was able to do the Mitsubishi engine.

should this be split into separate topic as it has nothing to do with GC series?

My short "Vacation" was ended yesterday, had do move snow, had 6 days off from snow which is a record for this winter. Now looking at another 3 days of thaw and hoping (ha ha ha) that I don't need to disturb the GC's sleep again until mowing time.

swapped out battery today for newer one so I could use old one on generator.
course what was sent did not match picture so had to stretch + cable. debated going through the whole return/ship hazmat crap and just yanked on + cable a touch and good to go.
nobody local had a correct one in stock to put my hands on sadly.

Note to self:

This is the correct battery orientation for the GC tractors.

last storm plow guy did not go full width of road, warm weather coming so would flood road if not fixed. moved 2+ft bank back 5 feet for 900ft run.
took 20 minutes, edge protectors on bucket are super useful on gravel road/driveways.

edit: correction approx 1200+ feet done moved back 10-15 feet.
you know how it is, go out for a smoke and hop on tractor just because. crap gets done then.

approx 8" water in this ditch where front tires were.

First backhoe and learning how to use it and build some muscle memory for the controls. I KNOW NOT to abuse this thing and quickly found it's limitations. Old stump ground level in the back yard, turns out it's cedar, and alive and well. I dug on it maybe 2.5 hours total, then sacrificed a cheap chain saw to cut it a little lower then covered it back up.

What I learned and a few questions:
  • These outrigger pads dig in badly in soft ground. What are the upgrade options?
  • Are the root rippers really worth it for this unit? I think if I had one I may have had a chance at getting it up. Do not really plan to tackle anything this size unless it is rotten and maybe softer wood.
  • I installed the 2 inch spacers on my 2nd day of digging, and I noticed more stability when digging.

this week been a new trailer prep week. fwd facing ambers added to tailgate area and fender fronts. they wired in and working, reverse leds mounted not yet wired.
old x-over toolbox from 14ft trailer getting bolted in shortly.
mudflaps cut out and ready to bolt to trailer (7x20ft caliber purchased 11-2024) and the top handle jack was replaced with a side handle jack with drop down foot.
anyways 10 days ago had to haul snowblower (for all intents 16ft long) a few miles to clear a path to oil tank for an elderly veteran. may have posted this pic before, don't remember.

I looked at a few 16 and 18ft trailers before buying this 20ft one.
the 16ft ones had axle pivot point between 8ft and 8ft 10inches.
the 18ft ones I looked at had pivot set between 8'10" and 9'10".
this 20ft has pivot point set at 11ft 6 inches. gives me lot of room for error in weight distribution.
