Not much going on here but was told this last October was the warmest on record and this November was the 3rd coldest on record.

First 8" of snowfall was the first week of November and since then I've plowed 2 times.

Already burned 1.5 cord of firewood this season.

Here's a picture from yesterday, as you can see the snow stays since it really has not snowed much for about a week.

Well, it looks like the Little Red Beast will get some action this AM -- we finally got some snow --not slush-- last night. Not much, but it's nice to see the ground white for the first time in December -- sheesh!

This is the second year in a row, I won't have to put the snow fence up until after Christmas. I'm waiting for a measurable snow fall in the forecast. And, hoping I don't have to put it up at all this year.

Winter is a lot easier to take now that it's only 3 months long!

I put up permanent snow fence so I don't need to take the time to put it up and take it down.

Had mine out last night, first snowfall with enough snow that it actually had to be moved.

frozen throttle cable again and dealer out of stock until next week.
cannot raise off idle.

What causes a throttle cable to freeze

seems to be related to cable being vertical on throttle handle end, wind drives moisture in there past the lower cowl/shroud. you can see end of cable even with everything buttoned up tight.
this one was 2" rain and 40 deg one day that night was 9 with 25-30 mph winds. had 80K btu salamander under it for a bit, no go

Ah, moisture getting in, I thought it might be the something else.
