What have I got here?

I bought this valve on ebay. When it got to the house it is a little diffrent than anythng I have fooled with. The joystick has 3 plungers under it, I understand 2 up/down Rt/Lt but what is the third for? The other two valves one appears to be a open center normal typevalve like i am used to but the last one is not like anything I have fooled with. Tell me what you can, I can't get any info on it from the manufacturer. I want to use the joystick on my loader, the open center for my grapple and could use the last one for a rear grapple if I can use it like that..

I suggest you get a Surpluscenter.com catalog, and see if you can ID it by comparing pics.

Can you pull the rubber boot up annd take a close pic? It only looks to me like there is 2 spools connected to the joystick, not three.

Can you take some closer pics?

Maybe that 4th spool is for motors? I am not familiar with motor spool valves.

It is a vickers v10 something. I too was thinking the last one was for a motor. The joystick has 2 spools but 3 rods that connect to it. One works right and left the other up and down, but there are 3 rods inside. I will get a photo of it without the boot. I am hoping to be able to take the 4th out and connect it all back together.

You don't provide much visual info, but I suspect the 3rd rod is the support required for the joystick lever to pivot on. It is simply anchored to the valve body. I wouldn't take it off without taking close note of exactly how it is oriented. Correct assembly of the joystick pivot parts is crucial to its proper function, and there are quite a few incorrect possibilities. The slice next to the joystick looks to be a motoring spool; you should be able to use that to control a simple cylinder.

Ok here is my best guess. 1 loader control with float on 1 set, both double acting. One right next to loader is a pressure relief, one next to the pressure relief is a double acting lever. Outer blocks are for input, output to tank and power beyond.

I think from left to right there is an out port, 2 spools linked with joystick handle, a third spool that has been eliminated, a motor valve and in/power beyond ports. One of the 2 spools controled by the joystick looks to have float. I may have the out and power beyond mixed but without looking at the valve in person that would be my best guess.
