Here's what we found yesterday as we were digging around the barn posts to shore them up a bit better. The head of the one I operated on was triangular so I'd say these would have hatched out to be poisonous. What eats snakes? A little limb if you catch them at the egg stage.

Getting ready to cut heavy steel pipe, fasten 2 each, to the posts (7 cedar posts hold up the barn), and cement into place. I'd suspect I should have no more structural barn problems. Why people take short cuts when they build a structure as big as this is beyond me!!
