If you are in Oregon, my local vineyard supply company has a great web page at ovs.com.
The following is really subjective and purely my own taste and personal opinion.
As for what do Kubotas look like? Coming from a die-hard JD fan-they are really bright orange! REALLY BRIGHT!
It has taken me a while to get used to the look but it really grows on you after a while. All the ladies who drop by think it is really nice-I look at it as very functional and well built-but definitely not green. I personally think JD must make spacecrafts as well as tractors. The external ID is beautiful. On the other hand, the Kubota is purely functional. What I think really looks cool about a Kubota is the undercarriage. It is solid as a boat anchor!
The industrial design of a Kubota is very distinct compared to JD or New Holland. They are great, don't get me wrong, but all three are really different. They look very different, ride very different, but are all extremely well built machines. I wish I owned al three-I only have two! I plan to buy New Holland as soon as my son gets out of medical school (he is only 9 right now but I am saving up!) New Hollands look great but I have no real experience with them.
Have fun and make sure you try them all out. You will really have a blast!
