I would have bought a Cab-Model, if I had known you can add AC this easily!!!

No idea why the hour meter is not connected to the key switch…
Usually because the key switch does not have the connection for ignition ON, like a car has. So, the hour meter and headlight are wired directly to the battery thru the big red tee handle switch.

You need a starter switch like those on a riding mower.

That drove me nuts too until I added a cooling fan. Now the sound of the fan running reminds me to throw the main disconnect.

I remember when I changed my switch so the hour meter worked on the key switch only. I noticed the original had the wires soldered to the bottom, and there were 2 unused solder points on the switch. I wondered then if maybe those were to be used for accessories when the key is on. I saved it and I planned on testing it to see. It was heavy and seemed like good quality. Definitely seemed better than the one I ordered from Amazon.

Nice looking machine. Looks bigger than my 1-ton. I like the cylinder protection. Does it have hydraulic cooler and filter?
Cooler but no filter…well that know of:)

You may want to consider adding the filter. Most of the hydraulic components are pretty pricey. Some are hard to locate replacements for, and some are in places that only a 4 year old can get to..

I took it off to do the bulk of the welding and paint. I'll post another picture when I get it mounted back up.
I finally got the crossbar finished and mounted up. I've attached a couple pictures of the finished product.

Nice work! Bet you feel better knowing you don't have a weak link anymore.

I wonder if those people who bent the frames, had any success fixing it?

I'm just wondering if it would be a good idea to add some metal to protect the hydraulic lines or are they located high enough up that this isn't needed?
