What did you do to or on your Mahindra today?

The Mahindra 3550 was used late this morning to scrape the ice off the driveway, barn door area. And then did behind the barn to make it better for the horses. The ice chains made the job a piece of cake. The 3550 is running great. Hopefully, tomorrow I’ll get out in the woods with it to fetch some firewood.

Well I stepped outside and fired it up for the first time in two or three months. It cranked right over as I kept a battery tender on it. Ran it till it showed some heat on the temp gauge then shut it down and locked the clutch pedal back down. It just won't snow here this year so I guess I won't get to use it till maybe this spring for a building project.

I took the 4540 and scraped down the driveway but with the temps dropping below freezing it will be all ice tomorrow.

Picked up a new brush hog this morning and had to unload it from the trailer. They were smart when they loaded it so I could back onto the trailer with my tractor and hook up to unload it. I put the brush hog in the equipment shed and put the tractor back in the garage. Tough day in the seat, lol.

Well, it was a few days ago, however, I pushed over/up a 45+ hardwood that was distressed/diseased. Filled in the hole from the root ball and knocked the dirt off the roots. Will salvage what I can for firewood and give the neighbor the remainder for his outdoor boiler (he can literally burn pretty much anything in it)

Dead tree fell on the fence in the lane.
Cut it in half, teased it out and carried it to burn pile.
Notice that the tractor appears to be down in a trench.
My theory is that in 1850 when my people settled here,
they had to dig out the lane so draft animals could pull wagons
up the steep, sandy hill to reach the road.
