I reworked an IBC Tote and made a Man Basket (for the Wife) to use with the forks.
That's damn cool.

Thanks. We often need to get a little elevation for roof-raking snow or beating off some ice dams on the eves or a thousand and one other small chores that crop up. This is much easier and safer than trying to work off a ladder. That's damn cool.

It took about 15 minutes to cut out the door with the sawsall, 10 minutes to smooth all the cut edges and 10 minutes to find and install the safety chain. I still need to add plywood in the bottom and a chain to attach to the fork frame. Simple and Quick. It certainly gives me a few ideas, maybe one day I'll put them into action. Solid inspiration.![]()
Nice job. A little bit of seat time can make a huge difference in aesthetics.
Thanks, trying to get ahead of the kudzu so maybe I can keep it cut. When that stuff greens up the vines are like cables and will wrap around axel shafts, choke the cutter down, even saw it wrapped around the driveshaft of a power co. truck and immobilize it. The crew had to take an axe to cut it off the driveshaft.Nice job. A little bit of seat time can make a huge difference in aesthetics.
We did the same, I added a rubber stall mat cut to size from TSC to the floor, it made a huge positive difference in foot stability and tool retention.I reworked an IBC Tote and made a Man Basket (for the Wife) to use with the forks.
