I found a piece of boiler tube, sch. 160 or something like that. Twice as thick as schedule 80. Welded the nuts to the inside and Wallah!!!....steering fixed to finish the work for today. Installed two culvert drainage pipes in a town down the highway from me for a buddy.

Not enough hours in a day..... so I have to mow at night. Trying to get it done before more rain moves in. Parts of the yard are still too wet but it's getting out of control so I made a bit of a mess but got most of it done.

Mowed about 3 acres of meadow with my ,new to me ,rotary mower ( have a Ford flail as well but it doesn’t do well with really high grass). Wife and I limbed and bucked some more of the pines we cleared last year- gotta love having a grapple-makes limbing and bucking so much easier!

Trimmed some low branches around the yard that were making trouble with my ROPS. Used the tractor to drag them to woods then piled them up with the FEL. I'll burn it all after it dies and dries out a bit.

Got stuck.... didnt take much to pull it out but it looks like I'll be hand digging this drainage ditch. Too dangerous to back up to it and dig off the side because of the maniacs that frequent this road and obviously too soft to try to straddle the ditch and dig off the back.

If I could figure out a way to dig off to the side in close quarters, I would have had the shed wall done long ago without all the tedious (and painful) hand digging. I was able to do the last segment today with the BH where I could dig straight on.
