yeah I told my wife, 'riding the tractor, and getting to knock stuff over! that's a fun day, not work at all' although I did make enough today to almost pay the tractor payment this month

oh something else today. When I got home, we'd had a quick summer storm blow through and there were tree limbs down in the road. The tree is on the neighbor (across the road) property. He is a great guy, he has a 40hp Kubota, and he is the guy who will go out of his way to help anyone and everyone. Tills gardens all up and down our road. I've had to get him over a few times to help me with stuff. He's been sick the last few weeks, he's had colon cancer and they think it's coming back on him, so soon as I got the tractor off the trailer, I went out and cleared the limbs from the road, pushed them off in the ditch on my side of the road, and in the morning, I'll go over and clean up the rest of them from his yard, which gives me a chance to be a good neighbor to him, AND to play with my new limb chipper too....

yeah this guy is a great guy. He's like everybody up and down our mile long roads grandpa. will never take anything, I learned quickly when we moved here 4 years ago, not to even offer because he gets offended. I don't think he even knew the limbs were down, and if I can get the rest of them cleaned up before he knows it I will

nice! not exciting? well ok to a NON tractor owner.....
I'm one of the weird ones I guess, anything I can get out and do on my tractor is me time, play time, and that in and of itself makes it exciting.so did you shovel and spread it by hand out of the bucket?
