Making me feel badly. A couple of times I’ve told wife I should mount the brush mower and go down and clean up a neighbor’d overgrown yard. (About 4 ft tall). Has to be dry though.

Took delivery of my 42" pallet forks, of course I had to remove the bucket and try them out! :)

I moved the cheap, flimsy pallet they came on to in front of the shop so I could cut it up with the chainsaw and put in the trash bin. Then I used them to lift up my 3pt disc and move it a foot.

I cannot tell a lie. I did this Friday and am just getting around to writing about it today while I watch the snow fly here in Central Texas. Over the past 15 years since my house was built my 300 gal propane tank has slowly been settling into our black gumbo soil. I waited for the tank to get to the 20% refill level before attempting to lift it with my LS 125 FEL. I have three hooks mounted on my bucket with one in the middle. I hooked a 3/8 inch chain on the center hook rotated the bucket down using the chain hanging below the bucket to act as a plumb bob. I centered up on the lifting hook on one end. I had previously purchased four 8x12x2 solid cement blocks one for each foot. There was a 8x16x4 and an 8x16x2 already under each foot that had pretty much disappeared. I set the tractor rpm's to about 1600 and eased up on the FEL. The tank easly came up to allow the two additional blocks to be added to the lifted end. I gently lowered that end and moved to the other end and repeated the operation. I had previously hand dug up a portion of the supply line to the house where it entered the ground to allow plenty of slack in the copper line. The whole job took less than thirty minutes. I love my little blue machine.

My Titan Quick Attach fork lift attachment arrived yesterday. Ordered on Saturday night, on the ground at my place before noon on Tuesday. It only had to go from Fresno to San Jose, but, still, pretty **** quick. Looks well made and it fit my XR4150 perfectly. When I first bought my LS I made the mistake of buying some clamp on forks, thinking I wouldn't use them that much. Boy was I wrong! The convenience factor alone makes them worth it. My attachment arsenal is growing, Woodmaxx MX9900 chipper, Woodmaxx 62H flail mower, Titan box scraper, and now the Titan quick attach fork lift attachment.

Yes, forks are a must have attachment. Mine are better than your's as my son paid for them. He still lives on the farm and his equipment is parked next to mine. I get to use his attachments when I want to. Of course he uses my attachments, tiller, rack, and trailers when he wants to.
