What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

As always, putting hay out for the horses. I did clean up about 30 china berry trees. Made a big fire for awhile.

Man, I couldn't do that. Mowing is probably one of my least favorite things to do. In South Arkansas, I don't have snow removal either . We do have mosquitos 9 months out of the year, high humidity, 100 deg days in the summer, but I guess it's whatever you grow up used to!

Mowing with my tractor is soooo much better than a regular mower. Practically a Zen experience at times. And I do enjoy the view. Not sure wife always likes in when I come in from a few hours and announce “I had an idea” - often costs money.



We have mosquitos but nothing like what I grew up with in Maine or Georgia, high humidity, but not suffocating kind, the days we get over 80°F can usually count on 1 hand, max 83° but usually with a breeze. Oh and the times under 60°F on the remaining fingers.

Yesterday, I used my wonderful LS to help burn a large slash pile. Mostly to push the unburned material back into where the fire is.

I ordered mine. Should be home Monday or Tuesday.

I fed cows round bales of hay and stored three pallets of wood stove pellets on my back porch.

Piled up stumps I've been digging out with a borrowed backhoe. Sure will be nice when my son is old enough to run the tractor and move stumps while I dig!
