And a new TV for the kid.
I stayed with her a few weeks ago for a few days because she was pretty ill and lives alone. She got well. I hate her TV!
It was a gift from a relative, and was great while she was in college and working for the past 10 years. I admire her for keeping it so long. She is very frugal. But it takes about 15 minutes for the sound to start working after she turns it on, error messages pop up on it that constantly have to be cleared, and it's picture quality is poop!
So a reward for being frugal and a gift to myself when I visit her next time.

A gallon of Muriatic acid, a corn straw broom, and 3 tons of heating pellets. The latter to be delivered Tuesday.

It was supposed to be their last day today at the former TSC known as Peavey Mart.
They've been extended a week to try and get rid of more inventory.
It's really picked over though.
But I found the last pair of shoes in my size behind some others on a bottom shelf.
Nice walking shoes marked at $180 going for $40.
Neighbor came over after I got home and immediately offered me double but I'm keeping them.
I have a pile of runner type/cross trainers from Asics and New Balance (4-5 pairs still in the box) but not so many regular shoes that aren't too dressy.
I missed a few things at their going out of business sale like a large gun safe but I've picked up some decent stuff to.
Best was an attachment for my LEM meat grinder. It can do a double grind (course and fine) in one pass.
Looking at the LEM site it looks like I saved over $250.
