Yup, should be lots of mint shape flood vehicles hitting the markets soon. Be very careful out there.

Bought a rifle yesterday. Ruger American Ranch Gen 2 in 5.56. Handy little thing. Threaded barrel and takes AR mags, which I have a gazillion of.

Where I dug up a dead tree next to a shed I planted 150 tulip bulbs from Holland Bulb Farm and a Colorado blue spruce. It will take a few years getting to this size!

I have 1,200 tulip bulbs on the way I'll plant in another area. That should be fun!

They will look nice. When I plant tulip bulbs, I use my walk-behind tiller to make a path through the sod, then pull out the grass clumps by hand, then make a couple deep passes. Then I can just shove them in the loose soil by hand.

We plant a couple hundred canna lilies each spring, and have to dig them out each fall and store them indoors. 2-300 in spring = 5-600 by fall. Can't give em away as we've saturated the friends and family over the years. 🙃

How do you all get deer and squirrels to not eat them all?
I planted about 80 tulips, many surrounded by daffodils and other natural deterrents.
First year about 80% came up, most eaten.
second year about 10 left, all eaten.

Some years they make it. Other years the rabbits nibble off the buds so all we get is leaves. Nothing eats the canna lilies but Japanese beetles.

Last year we put out these mothball stations around the flower beds.

They are little plastic cans that you suspend with some wire hangers that are included. You can adjust how far they are open. We could smell them from several feet away. Refilled them once about 6 weeks later. After that, the flowers were done blooming and the rabbits were eating the clover in the yard.

We bought two 6 packs of them. Nice thing is they are waterproof, so the mothballs last longer. Also, pet safe. Gotta bring them in before it snows or I'll forget and step on them.

Got them at Menards. I see them on Home Depot website.

These are prefilled. The ones we bought we fill ourselves.

Some have suggest sprinkling cayenne pepper around flowers as well. Don't know how that work, but it would require reapplication after rains or if you have sprinklers, I'd guess.

Thanks. Working with the dealership. The kit was not given to me in its original box. The largading to e square U frame was naked, the side brackets were in a foamy wrap taped up, and the hardware in a cotton bag. The top which was upside down on a pallet was 1/2 inside a poly bag with the other half exposed. I should have checked everything carefully prior to picking it up and I wish the kit was in its original package. I am sure it will be resolved. leading to
Update: Replacement Canopy kit arrived at the dealer yesterday (06Nov2024) with the top damaged. They immediately contacted Yanmar and another kit is being shipped out. Yanmar is supposedly shipping these out on a pallet without much protection leading to damage of the plastic top during the shipment process.

I brought home a HF welding table the other day. I don't really need it, except it comes with an assortment of "hold down" tools and clamps - which I think is great. I also bought swivel stud type casters, since it needs to be mobile. I had to cut off the welded on nuts to mount the casters - I hope they're solid enough. The nuts on the legs were 3/8" but the casters are 1/2". Made in China, but had/have SAE threads...
