Ya, well i had a similar window. It did last for years, but started showing scratches after awhile. I have lots of trees and brush, that didnt help. Have cleared mist of the offensive stuff over the years.

But even washing it with windex and paper towels left scratches. And i HAD TO HAVE a automatic windshield wiper. The snow played havoc with driving in winter. You cant use automatic windshield wiper on ANY poly windshield.

Realizing I buy very little. Maybe because I already have so much? We didnt use 1/2 of our Christmas gift fund this year. We have been under budget on groceries for months now (since I retired and started cooking). I sorta want an articulating endoscope, but I have to decide if its really worth it.

Only use l would have for that are about coyotes. Everything else in my puritanical state is illegal to hunt after dusk and no larger rifle round larger than .229.

Wow! Y'all must have a real 'yote problem, to spend that much to resolve it... I'll shoot one if I see it, but it's not that big of an issue for me.

Obviously said in jest... it will be used for many other things. Yotes and Piggos are just one of the uses. :)

Yeah, if I had feral piggies up here I'd be all over that. I hear they can/do REAL damage. They also can reproduce at an alarming rate - like Star Trek Tribbles (born pregnant)...

Purchased two replacement bearings for the rear roller of my Caroni TM1900 flail mower. Two years ago I paid about $100 each at AgriSupply. This time I found them for $10 each at Austin Surplus.

VERY nice!!!!

I'm setting up my shop now, building shelves, and really want a woodworking section. A good track saw is on my list... but, I bought the Kreg Straight Edge Guide XL to assist with ripping plywood for my shelves. It words very well, for what I'm using it for.

I also needed a good sliding miter saw... had some coupons at Harbor Freight, so I took a chance and bought a Bauer 10" dual pivot sliding miter saw with the Bauer miter saw stand. Took it home, set it up and it works great. Took me a bit to get the thing calibrated, but once I set the fences up, and trued the blade, I'm getting verified repeatable cuts. I'll try to get some pictures this afternoon. I absolutely LOVE the shadow line this saw gives, makes precision cutting much easier!

Back on ripping plywood, I'm using OSB for the shelf tops, that stuff does not rip very well. :)

I'm a complete novice when it comes to wood working... but, learning something new every day. Having the proper tools, sure does make it easier!

I’ve wanted a track saw for a while and i needed one for a job so I finally got one. View attachment 2105442
I still do it the Fred Flintstone Way. Piece of 2 inch Styrofoam on the ground with a 6 inch wide straight edge made from the factory edge of a half inch piece of plywood clamped to the workpiece.

I used to do that as well... now that I'm using the Kreg Straight Edge Guide XL... I'm finding that the factory straight edge is not that straight... :)

Most people tend to hate on saw lasers but I have a Dewalt saw with a shadow line and I don’t like it. My Delta saw with a laser is much better. I only use the dewalt because it’s belt drive and will cut 5-1/2” baseboards standing up and the direct drive delta can’t. The laser is accurate from full height where the shadow line is useless until the blade is basically touching the work. My other complaint is the shadow is projected as V and slightly overcuts the mark.
