But, since it's not too late and I haven't seen the picture, here's my first guess, based on the fact that Gary sells trucks, and some truckers appreciate a finely detailed rig.

We all know that Gary likes motorcycles, and I suspect it was a picture of a bike that is "very" close. Here is the actual vehicle - I got the picture from the former owner.

Finally, this has nothing to do with the contest, but when I was surfing for pictures I came across this one and almost died laughing. Should be a good lesson why it's illegal to park next to a hydrant. Notice the glass on the ground...
