I have been using Verizon for the past 17 years because it’s pretty much the only carrier that works reliably where my house is.
They keep raising prices, with only one line and a Verizon Jetpack I was paying $101 a month for 30 gigabytes of what they call high speed data, after 30 gigabytes they slow down the the data but it does still work.
There was no other internet available where I live until about a month ago when Spectrum became available here, but I really ain’t very interested in paying anything to Spectrum because I travel a lot .
A few months ago one of my brothers switched to USmobile which uses Verizon, T-Mobile , AT&T he has been very happy with the switch and talked me into trying it, he is supposed to get $15 for getting me to switch.
Well switching process was way too complicated for me so I got my brother to help. Even with his help it seemed very complicated but I’m now on USmobile Verizon paying less than half of what I was paying before and supposedly getting 100 gigabytes per month instead of only 30, so far it has been working great.

I might have tried Consumer Cellular which only uses AT&T but AT&T often doesn’t work inside my house and Consumer Cellular doesn’t have service in Canada or Mexico or other countries, I’m planning to ride to Canada again next summer. T-Mobile coverage is pretty lousy where I live.

Just in case someone doesn’t realize USmobile and UScellular are two completely different companies.

Verizon in middle TN. Signal is very strong , have heard ATT and Tmobile spotty in my area. Verizon also works good at my farm in southern KY. Have others say if you see cows and cornfields that Verizon has best service. 2 lines at my house for $80/mo pus tax and fees unlimited calls, text, data. 55 plus plan

We've been with T-mobile for quite a while. Grandfathered plan. 5 lines unlimited everything for $147/month. So me, wife, both kids, and our home old landline number that only Grandma calls us on. 🙃

They have great customer service!

It used to be that if you saw a cornfield, you lost service, but it's gotten much better over the years. In cities and towns they work really well. Still some spots where we have phone, but internet doesn't work.

Still, folks around us that have Verizon don't lose service as often as we do.

I have T-Mobile and Verizon (work phone).
I like T-Mobile for travel to other countries.
Coverage for all Cell providers is spotty where I am as only one tower on the other side of a ridge.
When I travel in the US, I found ATT was awful, even in big cities (old work phone).
So if only US, verizon is great.
If US and travel outside US, T-mobile.
If you hate getting phone calls-ATT.

Too bad can't have a third party with both Verizon and T-Mobile, unless someone has found one?
That would be the best of both worlds.
Though could have 2 plans if you have a sim and esim, think cost and switching back/forth would be problems?

We also have Verizon. Not cheap but generally the service is good. The last two times I’ve gone in they’ve said “we’ve got a plan that will save you money”. I always assumed it was a gimmick but last time I went in I got a new phone and the bill went down. I don’t know if our local store actually has people that try to save you money or if it’s just a gimmick to get you to stay with them. For example my dad was in the navy and that saves me $10 a month.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that when my wife and/or kids travel to Europe, Middle America, or South America, T-mobile works great. (y)

I have Mint Mobile. 200 bucks for a year. 15 bucks a month plus tax and fees. 5 gb data, which is more than enough for my use. Where I live there is no cell service. I use wifi calling in the house. I'm going to be setting up a new wifi system so that I will have wifi outdoors. The system I have now quit working and so it will be getting fixed. Since I have to have a land line to get internet I could use the land line but the cell phone gets used too.

I only have a prepaid Tracfone flip phone (which I rarely use). $20 + 911 fee every 3 months. They use Verizon's network (I think Vz owns them now). Coverage is spotty where I live no matter who you use, but Vz is probably the best of the bunch. If I'm near the Canadian border it might work and it might not.

I have Tracfone as well, had to update phones a couple times due to network upgrades, but my current one was only $30 and is a smart phone. Some time ago I got the lifetime triple minutes option, so every year I get more time and text than I can use for around $100, and it carries over. Having the facebook messenger phone call over wifi feature sure cuts down on the minutes on family calls.
