What brand sickle mower

I have been looking to buy a used sickle mower for cutting along creek banks and ditches. Also have a bank along roadway that I can get below to mow. Did any company make a sickle mower that could be used angled as well as flat and if so what model is it. Mower will be used on either my Ford 640 or Ford 2000.

Try and find an IH 1300 3pt model - Parts are still available. Rowse Rakes also still makes them under their name and carry all the parts. NH also made one up to a few years ago, but not sure of their set up. There are also several new imports that will work well - Prices are fairly good, especially if you figure in the rebuild cost on an older model. Sweets tractors usually has a good stock of used on hand. Ken Sweet is a member here
