Why? Hydraulic sickle bar mower?

Local auction has a group of SSQA, hydraulic sickle bar mowers, and im trying to figure out what the use case is? Maybe pond slopes, from the maintenance berm? There are better, more versatile options. Certainly not hay, right? Im not saying it won't work, but it seems an overly complicated answer to a question noone asked.

Hedges, pond sloped edges, vertical trimming along driveways/field edges.
Samurai cutter from cut that, and pro cut from agrishield.

My Samurai runs in any angular position. I can run it off my JD1435 mower to trim pathways around the property and under pine trees. Or I can clamp it onto the side of my bucket. Mine has a fixed knife under a moving one.

I guess I'll thought of a sickle bar as a grass only impliment. Not in the market, but I saw like 6 brand new ones. This auction often has imported, new, odd stuff; kinda like importers are testing the market?

I have a hydraulic sickle I need to build. It will be used to trim trees (not very much) and mow along ditch banks and road edges. Hydraulic lets me run the unit at any angle from -75 to +90 degrees, as well as mount it on the front of the tractor for better visibility.
