These are some pieces I picked up cheap at a farm estate auction, primarily for the steel. The piece on the trailer looks to me the tongue for some sort of implement. Has axles on the end of the crossbar, which is 2 channels welded back to back. Looks like it was originally JD green.

Middle one is also JD green and appears to have a crank adjustable top link. one end looks like it pins on the draw bar, the other has holes the look like they're for cat 1 pins.

No idea about the third one.

I read and learn a lot from these forums, just haven't posted much.

Thanks!

Umm...... Looks like good material for other projects ?? ??

My guesses:

Top: My first thought was a hitch to tow two hay rakes, but some features don't fit that use, unless the beam was originally something else.

Middle: Looks like a tongue for a 4-wheel wagon, trailer, or implement, with an adjustment for height to allow coupling and uncoupling from the tractor seat, using a long pin.

Bottom: Front part of some implement. Does the part the strap top link fastens to rotate? Is this thing upside down?

Good Finds

could they all have been from one item ?

Top - good start for a light duty yard trailer
Middle - I thought this was a trailer tongue, but the wide end at the bottom seems to have connections for tractor implements. needs pins :) the green bar would be for raising / lowering ... whatever it is
Bottom - looks to me like a 3 point hitch connection

Thanks for the replies!

That bottom piece could be upside down, and the strap does rotate. I mostly thought about the the long one to cut up so I could make a boom pole for my 3 point hitch. The auction outfit had all of them bundled, paid $10 for the lot.

Got the small trailer at the same auction forc$15.

I'm thinking I can use the pins and frame from the bottom piece as the base, and go from there.
