What about a horn?

Anybody have a horn on there kubota? Do any come factory with this option? I have a 3430 CAB and it does not have the horn nor the option to get one. I would not use it much but it might come in handy at times.

Anybody got one?

It was available as an option on my 1985 B5200 and the tractor has a plug in the hole in the dash panel where the horn button would be as well as a little picture of a horn. There was no such option offered nor a plug or picture of a horn on the dash of my new BX24.

I have the same complaint that my B7610 didn't have a horn, so I ordered one from AUTOMOTIVE HORNS & ACCESSORIES PRODUCTS BY WOLO MFG. model 250-2T and am very pleased.

My owner manual for my L3130 has a section which talks about a horn, but it has in parenthesis (if so equipped). So, I think it's an option on some, or maybe a different model and they are using the same owner manual as a template. Either way, I don't have a horn.

Why would you need one? Just curious?

Seriously, a horn isn't a bad idea at all. Then again, most people have the ability to shout at the idiot standing too closeby.

I purchased a horn for my JD 3720 cab. It's main use is to get the attention of someone else on the outside, instead of stopping and opening the door and yelling.

I have a air horn from Harbor Freight on my L3710DT mounted under the hood in front of the radiator. It fills the space up fairly well. I'm not even sure if the hydrostat models with the oil cooler there could mount the same horn in a similar manner. Right now, it has a cheap button from the parts store but it would look much better with something less conspicuous.
