It has rained in CT on average 2X a week since mid summer, been raining for 15 hours now. From July 1 - Oct 31 we average 18 inches and we are at 27 this year. I can't drive my tractor off anywhere off the driveway or I'll create huge ruts in the lawn. I need the lawn to freeze solid so I can move firewood!

Second dry/drought year for the East coast of Tassie.
Total rain for November (for me via my rain gauge) was 118.3ml. which was the most for the whole calendar year. It was very welcome. It may help with the hay crop if cutting is delayed 'til after Christmas/NY, but then you're into the middle of Summer.

Here in the Piedmont area of North Carolina, last report on the news put us at 18” above normal. It has to be close to record rainfall.

Tell me about it. I've got to sell cows and I'm afraid the hauler won't be able to get to my corral with his gooseneck. It would suit me for it to be warm and dry here for the next three weeks.

I am east of Gainesville Fl and have been running sprinklers on my garden all spring and summer.
Many of the lakes around here are up to 10' below normal.
Sadly some people are paying taxes on lake front property and the lake is 1/4 mile away!

That's perplexing. The OP is in North Florida and having a wet year. I probably don't know exactly what part of your state is considered North Florida.

Wow, these totals are crazy. We are still in drought conditions. At least went from 'exceptional' to just 'drought conditions'. Our normal rainfall should be at around 10"... Yes only 10". So far for the year only 7 1/2"..... Dry, dry, and more dry.
