Wet skid steer

There's a disappearing island in the Chesapeake Bay, and a guy who owned a house on it tried, unsuccessfully, to move enough sand to prevent the rising waters from taking the house. This skid steer was left, and it soon too will become a navigation hazard.

I guess it is not worth enough to pay for a big Heli to come over and "pluck" it up and move it to dry ground.. too bad.

Salt water work makes it not worth the scrap iron. I've seen wheel loaders that have fallen off barges while unloading and after one day in the ocean, there is a huge cost to rehabilitate. The winter storms will reduce this to something a person will someday find due to its magnetic signature when sailing over it.

Hard to tell what brand it is. A Case or a Thomas skid steer? Someone please
go but a big revolving light on top of it. I hear taps playing softly in the background.

It looks like a Case 1845C. I have one and as bullet proof as they are, all it needs is a fresh water rinse and it's time to get back to work.
