2003 BX2200
My BX2200 has been sitting idle in the garage since Sept, so decided on this last day of the year to fire it up and recharge things.

Ah, the sweet sound and smell of that little motor! Dang life is GREAT!

No snow in the forecast, but I just got my biz insurance, so can take the unit off my property and do some work now. And I've spotted several dirt piles in the neighborhood. As soon as I get my website put together, get a trailer, and get some biz cards going, I'm in business!

Got to pay for my toys now!!!!!!!!

Happy new year everyone!

Ah, truely a case where great minds think alike. My TC30 has sat idle for a few months as I was busy with some other responsibilities. Went out today and fired it up with no problems. I drove around the house twice just to loosen things up and then let it run at 1800 rpm for close to an hour. Now, I'm just waiting for enough snow to warrant gett'n out there.

I also started up a few other summer toys just to keep'm lubed and prevent fuel gumming:
Go-Cart
ZTR Mower
WeedWacker
Blower
Power Washer
Dirt Bike

Did draw some complaints from the wife when I came in smelling like fuel. O Ya, I also burned about two years worth of paperwork. Burning is a lot more fun than shredding.

3 months with no seat time??? I'd go into withdrawal. I'll use mine to take garbage cans out to the road, and then do a perimeter patrol if I haven't had any seat time in a week. With 30 acres a quick tour can take 30 minutes if I don't find anything that needs attention.

Ha, Jerry,

I laughed when I read your post about burning. I live in a city, where burning is a NO NO.

Last year, I had a gob of my Mom's papers (from estate), and I knew our little shredder wouldn't do it, so I loaded them in the upright smoker grill, watered the grass all around it, and lit it off.

I was really surprised the neighbors didn't call the fire dept--you could smell those papers and the smoke was intense. It did a job on them though.

Ron, I have a shredder, but the amount of papers I had would have consumed the usefull life of the little machine in an afternoon. I had a box that measured about 3ft by 3ft by 1ft that was filled with old papers. I wonder how they did it at Enron?

Great day for doing just that! Mid-50s here in the lower midwest. Started up the BX23, then while it was warming up started up the old 8N. Pulled the 8N out of the barn so as not to smoke up the place /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif , then after a five minute warm-up, pulled out the '23, put up the ROPS (it's about an inch too tall to fit the door!), and went for a drive.

Picked up some trash that was blowing across the field, used the BH to move an old concrete hog trough, piled some branches onto the FEL and hauled them to the burn pile, and then put it away. Ran both PTOs for a few minutes to keep them limbered up, too.

Wish I had my BX1800 I plan on buying by my April birthday.

My Gravely with just me sitting on the mostly empty cart was pawing its way up my back hill this morning after I finished building a bridge across a gully. Thought I might have to stop and get off the Gravely a couple of times, but it spun its way up the hill. It tossed me off the last time I had to change to low range before getting off it. 'Twas then I decided on buying a 4wd with locking diffs for that hill.

Oh, I started up the Troy Bilt Tomahawk yesterday after checking its hammers after having loaned it out. Hammers were fine. Put another air cleaner with foam element around it and changed out the Mobil 1 after warming it up.

Ralph... you will have to take off more than just your clothes if you expect that /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gifGravely to pull both you and the sulky up the hill.......

Hah! You need to fine more ways to use your tractor...that's too long to go with out getting on the seat and running the engine to put it in motion. Me...I use the FEL to carry the 55 gallon bin from my cyclone (dust collection system in my woodworking shop) from the shop to the composting area which at least gets me in the seat for at least two minutes. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Hey...it's an excuse to fire her up!

Sure wish we would get more snow so I could fire up the 2200 and get some seat time!
