Well Maintained Tractor!

I love looking at the tractors on eBay. Here is a good example of a "well maintained" tractor.

Less than 10 years old. If these people actually "maintained" this tractor it would be the surprise of a lifetime.

Wow.. that thing is beat up. I also like the way the rear tires were said to cost two different amounts in the same description.

I would think that most of the rust is from chemicals and fertilizers used at the golf course. I used to work for a local course and we would have to make sure the mowers were washed off all the time. It would not take long for the rust to start popping out.

The headlights are probly the result of the tractor being used as a bulldozer at one time. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I know that the smaller golf courses arround here hire teenagers to do most of the work during the summer and they would be pretty rough on the equipment. Mainly because they do not have to pay for repairs. That tractor looks "well maintained" compared to some of the equipment I have seen at the smaller courses. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif His idea of "well maintained" is deffinately different than mine.

I'd guess someone ran it into a tree or something and destroyed the grill cover and lights. The replacements are obviously intended to illuminate any wayward groundhogs while simultaneously lighting up incoming seagulls.

I'm real glad to know it would have increased my vitality to own the thing, though. Too bad someone bought it before I heard about it. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
