Well I did it

Just got back from a Kubota dealer, where I bought a cute little tractor: B7510 with loaded R4s and 302 FEL (12,900), toothbar ($267 installed) and a used front-mount snowblower ($1800). Not a particularly good price on the tractor, but that's just what they go for up here in New England. And the money I saved on that used blower (with one season) and the at-cost (so I was told) toothbar makes it an okay deal.

Thanks to all you folks, I felt like a reasonably well-informed buyer. Thanks very much.

It seems like the overall pricing will balance out the deal - I don't know the pricing on the B7510, but it doesn't seem out of line for a machine like that. As a package I think it sounds very good. Good Luck with it!

Congratulations JCA. I'm really happy for you getting such a nice tractor. The Woods standard toothbar I bought retails at $265. If you ordered one from someone and had to pay shipping, you'd pay around $300 or a little more, depending on location. Overall, not a bad deal, esp. for New England. ENJOY!
