Robots are indeed very cool. I spend a lot of time around them. I see them doing everything from building Oxy-Fuel Regulators to Plasma Cutting to Serving Beer at shows. They are getting so affordable that even small fab shops are starting to buy them..:thumbsup:

I'm amazed at the ability of the people who think up, design, program and build the Robot Machines.

I have a Panasonic Gunslinger 261 mig that was designed specifically to operate with a robot. It makes for a REAL high end machine only drawback is getting parts, have to shop at places that carry parts for industrial robots and that has a habit of getting expensive real quick, but it's well worth it for what that critter does. :thumbsup:

I know a Panasonic Distributor that can get you want ever you need for the Gunslinger. Save you a bunch of money too.

OK, got my curiosity up now. What more can it do than my plain ol' Horbart mig does ?

Well it don't live is a good one,,runs 24 hours a day,is another,there are more,,,,
But,unless you was a fab shop,doing same thing over and over,,not much call for it...

the weld is the same all day long, seven days a week. No difference due to coffee brakes or long weekend. Also faster and IMHO to use a worker for a repetitive task is a waste of a human.
