I have a cherry 790 (275 hours) 4wd with a 70 loader. The young guy that maintains the lawn at my business has a landscaping business and wants to buy it from me, likes the price I gave him, but he's concerned if his existing trailer will carry it.

From the manuals I got I've determined the tractor itself weighs about 2100 lbs. (tires are NOT filled, have the optional large turf tires) but I can't find anywhere that lists the weight for a 70 loader. I have the manual for the loader and it doesn't list the weight, I went to TractorData and they show the weight of every other attachment except the loader!

I don't need an exact weight -- a close approximation will do.

Thanks.

IIRC from my old manual, the 70 loader weights about 700 lbs, including the 61" bucket.

He'll want a ballast box on that 790 if he wants the best use of the loader. The ballast box (filled) will add another 400-700 lbs.
