In such a case, if the mfr. will not replace the hitch head, you should. Might cost you a couple of hundred dollars, but that is peanuts compared to the potential losses if it fails while you are towing it at speed... and if a life is at stake. It is elementary, Watson. DO NOT accept a hitch made offshore, never, ever. Big name mfr.'s almost always buy Chinese products becoz they are extremely cheap. Do some critical shopping.
