would last years Roundup type killer be ok this year or would it lose it's power? I have old stuff that was left in cold all winter. It was cold enough to freeze. It is concentrated. directions were for 2 1/2 ounces per gallon.

Thanks all.

should be ok, Try some and see if it works. Mix 3 oz to the gallon.

I have used five year old weed killer that still worked fine.

What's to loose if it doesn't work?

You can try it, but I had some Roundup once that had frozen and it was useless after that, but it was the premixed stuff, so you may have better luck. As 4570man said, what have you got to loose?

Yep, we've used old Roundup concentrate and it works great, we buy several gallons at a time as it's cheaper.

Think no problem. I've kept and used from one season to the next. Only trouble I've had is with stuff mixed up. It gets like strings in it. Only mix up what I plan to use. Actually, mostly use it to paint concentrated on stems and leaves now.

I have some that is 3 years old and it still works. It has been stored in my unheated shop over winter but I don't think it ever froze.

Just used some last week from my 5 year old jug. Stored in unheated area of shop whole time. Worked fine weeds dying out on 3rd day after application.

Agree with the other posters here, I buy in bulk, and use the carry over every year with no drop off in results. The one thing I would look for is a change in color or gelling if it froze during the winter, but I haven't ever seen that happen.

Well it didn't work. I used 2 1/2 ounces of concentrate per gallon. Glyphosate 41 %. However, closer look at directions says it takes 1 - 2 weeks to work. I thought it would work sooner.. So i still have a couple days to see if works.

There are several types of Roundup with different kill times, Roundup Ultra, Roundup Ultra Max, Roundup extended control etc. Roundup Ready beans and such are used so much here it has gotten to the points some of the other plants are getting resistent and we have to spray more often than in the past.

Coffeman, give it a few days to work, depending on what you put it on. I put some glyphosate on some prickly pear cactus once to see what it would do. In a couple of weeks the cactus had black splotches on it and it was wilting badly. The cactus eventually fell down, but then it came back with new green pads growing out from the roots. Last year I used some Surmount on cactus and that seems to work well.
