I have the above set up but it is just not raining enough. The above pic was today. Light mist for several hours had an accumulation of .02" in the cocorahas rain gauge and none showed on the Tempest - it was too light, just floated in and was not detected by the tempest.
January 10th .32 in the rain gauge and .82 with the tempest but it was also snowing.
On January 6th the rain gauge showed .13" and the tempest .10".
December 29th had a 14 minute rain .07 in the rain gauge and .01 in the tempest.

I need some good 1-4" rains instead of these hundredth inch rains to get a good comparison.

Edit: it has started raining heavily and the Tempest is awake and reporting. I’ll post an update tomorrow.

OK the sun is out now. Tempest recorded the event lasted 30 minutes with .31" of rain the rain gauge collected .53".

Supposedly Weatherflow can tweak the settings. Guess I’ll see when I submit comparison data.
