Hello everyone. I've made an undercutter implement that would need some cutting discs so that the weeds don't jam it. I was thinking of different mechanisms and decided to go with the one in the first picture.
The top plate shown to the right is bolted on the holder tightly. I think this would work, but I wanted to discuss some other mechanisms. I found a grimme potato harvester that uses just 2 bolts. I am not entirely sure how it works, but I think it has a nut on the inside too. You first tighten the bolt and then the nut, maybe in the other direction. If you have a similar design at home, I'd love to see images of how it is constructed.
