Anyone make any money off last nights game?:D

Figuring with some of the points being given out and considering that the Pats were the home team...

Had to be one of the best superbowls played in a long time, not to mention one of the biggest upsets in the game.

My grandson is really bummed out since he is a Patriots fan, but that Giant defense should get the credit for that win. Congratulations Giants! What a surprise.

I'm up $10. just for this game, been losing to my patriot fan sons all season though. I don't know why everyone thought it was gonna be such a blow out, the Giants were playing better and better and the Pats were just barely winning their last few games IMO. But that little midget Welker should be the MVP for the entire league and for the entire season, very frustrating as no seems to be able to stop him.

We had 13 people watching the game at my house... man you would have thought a stink-bomb went off by the way the place cleared out after the game...... and today we are NOT talking about that game here in New England.

The Giants were VERY impressive. I would not have bet a nickle on Eli earlier in the year, but boy did he and the team come on in the stretch.

Congrats Giants fans and hard-core NFC'ers.

I had to remove my avatar today.... :(

As a long standing Giant fan of 30 years, this was a sweet victory. Unfortunately it had to foil a perfect season for NE, but hey thats football. I never guessed this was possible 3/4 the way through the season and I had nothing good to say about Eli. Well I ate my words and somehow it all came together. We overcame injuries and got some breaks which I guess you gotta do to win the big one. I don't know what to say to NE fans, but be proud of your team and look forward not back.:D

Boy, I saw on the news this evening that Mike Strahan rubbed the salt in New England's wounds at their big win rally, sounded like he really has an axe to grind, I enjoyed it, and had a good laugh since I have NO love lost for N.E. but man if I WAS a Pats fan or team member I'd be STEAMING MAD!!!!!

Gotta admit, I did like to see bilechek's sour grapes attitude at the news conference. My bitterness goes back 7 or 8 years, when Patriot's owner Krafts struck a deal with our Governor to move the team to CT, I knew it would never happen and it was just a ploy to get MASS to build him a new stadium, but there were people here that really thought it would go through and were heart broken, I knew Boston was not going to give up an NFL team at any cost.

More good news for us Giant Fans: The mastermind of that stifling Giant D, Steve Spagnuolo, not only has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Redskins head coaching position but he has also signed a hefty 3 year contract extension to remain Defensive Coordinator for the NY Giants. Now, if free agency doesn't hit the roster too hard, the Giants should have a pretty good defense for a few seasons!!!

Duber

The giants will know what it is like to have teams gunning for you all season long. IF the giants go 8 and 8 next year, you will be doing well. To bad Strahan could not act like he "had been there before" .... oh nevermind, he hasn't. Next year every team will be lining up to punch them in mouth. Hold on tight.

Yes, and still ready to throw up in my mouth when I think of that game.:)

Keep this in mind, it's only a game, and there are by far more important things in your life than a football game.

Myself being an Eagles fan at a young age, you learn how to cope:)

Now, that said, to go 18 and 0 and lose the last game in the superbowl to a wildcard team, if I were a Pats fan, I'm sure I'd feel the same way:p (I don't show sympathy only beacuse you guys beat the Eagles a little while ago in the big game).

Being a cowboys fan I'm never for the giants. But the giants were a great story and its hard not to pull for a great kid like Eli.

I have nothing against NE, but the giants are NFC and knocked the cowboys out, and I thought they were pretty darn good. When Eli threw the winning TD we were actually hollaring down here in Cowboy land.

Now, next year we will hope for a subpar season for the giants, but this was their year and I congratulate them.
