Oil & Fuel Water in my fuel

I added some fuel in my John Deere 1050 that had some water in it, I drained the fuel tank and cleaned out the filter. It still won't start what else do I need to do to get her running again.

were you able to prime the system? I don't think your deere has an electric lift pump but sometimes there is a hand pump fitted near the fuel filter. Did you fill the fuel filter as much as you could? Sounds like you may have air in the system. There is definitely a specified way to bleed the air out of the system in your deere.

Also is this a cleanable filter or is it a spin on that needs to be replaced?

Did old filter get any water in it? If so filter will probably require replacement as most water soaked filters block fuel flow.

It's a filter that can be replaced very small one inside a plastic cup type. I don't know how to prime the system or get the air out is there any one out there that can help.

I had a 1050 several years ago and as I remember the fuel system was gravity fed..no fuel pump. At the location where the fuel filter is, there is a fuel shut off and three bleeder screws. With the shut off in the open position open the screw to the left to bleed the line from the tank to the filter housing until you get fuel with no air bubbles then close the screw. Next open the center screw which will fill the filter housing with fuel pushing out the air. When you get fuel and no air bubbles close that screw. There should be a bleeder screw at the injector pump which also needs to be bled. After bleeding out these locations the engine should be getting fuel with no air in the system and should start. Let us know.
