I was fortunate enough to have played that course about two months ago. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I shot one of my few birdies on the 18th hole from the "Championship" tees too!! My wife is tired of me telling her that, and telling her that they should aim for the chimney on the club house on their drive on the 18th. Man, the weather is better in Maui this time of the year!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I was so excited that I had to drive back to the tee box to take a picture of the yardage marker! It is attached. I only have about two dozen other pics I took while on the course there. It is beautiful!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The Colts romped.
The surprise for me was the Packers. That they played soooo bad the 1st half. So many mistakes. Not the normal Packer team we've grown acustomed to. Moss was awesome for the Vikings. If the Vikings can play that way throughout the playoffs they could find themselves in the superbowl.

I'm sure that most of the pro's will birdie the 18th on some round. I was just elated because I'd likely only birdie it once in 100 rounds. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif There is something about hitting my driver twice in a row that never seems to work for me...well, actually there is a lot about golf that doesn't work for me. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Besides, I'd personally never seen a par 5 that long. I don't know if there are longer ones, but I've never seen one.

Pete, while I don't have any of my favorite teams in the playoffs, I'm still fond of teams like the Packers because of Bart Star and Colts because of Unitas. When I was young, those were the two names that really stand out. Others a little ways after those two greats are Bob Hayes, Fran Tarkington, Dick Butkus. My following of football and professional sports has dimished somewhat, perhaps if the 49ers ever figure it out again , it will be a bit more fun. At any rate, I'd love to see a spectacular Super Bowl.
