Warning light on dash

Have purchased a New Holland TL 80 A warning light has appeared on the dash. A round red circle with a exclamation mark in the middle and a bracket symbol on either side. What does this mean?

A red warning light is never a good thing! Do not operate the machine till you figure it out. Could be no oil pressure or similar. I dont have your tractor, hopefully someone here with one will come along.

Sounds a bit like the low tire pressure light in my car.

Maybe it is the parking brake light? A quick check of your owners manual may solve the mystery.

My first thought is parking brake is on.. the bracket symbols represent brake shoes. as others have said.. a quick check in the manual would be worth a lot more than all of our guesses.

G'day either park brake or low brake fluid . If it is low brake fluid then DO NOT top it up with the same fluid you use in your car these things use a mineral fluid and ordinary fluid will destroy the seals in the m/cyl and brake pistons
