Update??
Sorry for the slow follow-up. I was able to successfully customize the shaft to make it a square drive. I then milled a piece of 1018 steel for the hub part and adapted the yoke from a Weasler 300-6126. Everything worked out perfect. A lot of measuring, testing, grinding, milling, turning, etc. Worked great...
