You will love the Power Trac over the Steiner. I had a 430max Kubota and made an adapter to use walk behind Gravely attachments, mainly to use their rotary cutters (as Ventrac rough cut mower was close to $5k just for the attachment). The PT is hands down better for rough cut brush removal!!!!!
I use a PT180 with a PT rough cut rotary and a PT1430 with a Titan 60" hyd flail (mower was around $2500).
You could look for companies that posted online reviews of the PTs and give them a cold call to see if it is near time to update.

I did put it on tractors for sale but I am asking $5,500 for it. I bought it new and am the sole owner of it. I need something with better hill climbing abilities. I am hoping to aquire some more land around me sometime. I think I bought to small when I purchased it and not forseeing the future. I am keeping some of the implements I either bought or made for it to hopefully use on next purchase. It has been a great little machine for what I needed it to do. May have several quick attach plates available down the road. I don't know what exactly I will purchase in its place and what ever I do it will have some big shoes to fill.

That's a very good price. Shouldn't take long to sell.

My first machine was a huge IH2500b tractor loader. 8000# machine. It was too big after the initial uses of cutting in a road. Glad I had it at that time, but was not sorry to see it go after I downsized to the PT425. Interesting what we learn over the years.

It has 483 hours on the meter but it actually only has 433 hours because when I was changing the filter I left the key on by accident and it just kept accumulating the non running hours. It is a September 2008 model.

Thanks everyone, PT 425 sold this morning.
You think anyone would be interested in some quick attach plates and a hydraulic motor and hoses that would power a mower deck....I had it on my leaf blower and right now I am just throwing it out there to see if there would be any interest. Possibly 3 attachment plates from other attachments and one homemade. All would fit a T8 class I believe.
