Backhoe Wallenstein backhoe GX-720

Anybody own or have use a GX720 backhoe from Wallenstein? What do you think about it? It was cheaper then the original Massey and about the same spec. .... I just order one with subframe mounting and a manual thumb. I own a Massey 1734E. In the past I have use a 3 points mounting backhoe, and it was unstable and take time to install. I was scare to broke my 3 points.

The Wallenstein Backhoe is far better made and more durable. Their mounting brackets also go down to the drawbar so that it supports the stress of digging. They are kind of pricey, but worth what you get.

Thanks for the reply! It was on the expensive side of aftermarket backhoe but still cheaper then the original one from Massey (for my case). But their spec where similar or even a littler better for the Wallenstein.

mguitas when I look your photo it look like 3 points type mount? Or it is a subframe mount with a fast fast 4 points mount? One of my question is how fast is it to connect with the 4 points mount?

Needs a manual thumb,....or even better,....hydraulic thumb!

It is what Wallenstein would call a belly subframemount. Wish it was 4 point hitch. With practice, maybe about 10 minutes to take it off. Notice I have the smaller hoe, an it has double swing cylinders. Try to find that on a small backhoe today, you can't. They all have one cylinder.

There is a picture a few years ago, after I just put it on. When you hook up the hoe, take some pictures of the hoe an the four point hitch system. thanks.
