Help. Need to know if bolts that attach blades should have concave washers to hold blades to spindle. Mine were all loose. Phoned WD here in Ontario, gave them part number, asked if washers were concave, lady thought so. Ordered washers, was shipped flat washers. Would appreciate some experienced advice. Thankyou. ( Edit. Some mowers, Woods I believe use the concave or Bellville style washers to prevent loosening due to vibration. Now that there is play where blades mount due to being loose, any suggestions to save buying new spindles and blades.?) Also washers WD sent are 5/8 not 1/2 inch hole. No one stocks concave where we live or wants to order them.
