Virus from Info@Power_Trac

I just got an e-mail from Info@Power_Trac with a virus in it. My last communication with Brent at that address was a while back.
If you get an e-mail from that address, please be careful about handling it. The virus was in a zipped attachment, according to Norton.

Some of the virus transfers are sent with e-mail addresses that are familiar to the receiver (you), but are not sent by them. Not sure if this is what happened in your case, but I get e-mails from people I know that have detectable viruses attached, and the sender (when contacted) did not send them to me. Apparently the virus senders can grab addresses from either your address list as a sender or a receiver. Not sure I explained that very well, as I don't fully understand how viruses work.

I agree. It may not have come from Power Trac, but showed it as a return address. The last time I got a virus on one of their messages, Kristie's computer was actually the sender. I just wanted to alert the board, because most of us would open an e-mail showing Power Trac as the sender.
I called them to alert them that it might be theirs, but it certainly could be from somewhere else.

Charlie, thanks for the alert. i did get an e-mail from pt today and am feverishly scanning my whole network to see if i got one or not. under separate cover i am revealing the contents of the e-mail.
