I have one on my 1320 Ford and it came with a "shield" on the motor which "sorta" puts the warm air from the radiator fan into the cab. At -30 and blowing snow, it is wonderful. It keeps you dry and while not hot, keeps your tootsies from freezing. I usually wear a heavy jacket instead of a parka in the winter. I don't take the vinyl cab off in the summer, but I do remove the door panels so it isn't so hot inside, and let me tell you, it gets hot with the sun shining in all those "windows". I also remove those shields on the motor as well in the summer to keep the motor temperatures down. If you got lots of money, go for the solid cab with AC and a heater, but for about 10% of the cost, my "cab" works great for me.
