Vibration related cracking - need advice

So first, the Power Trac is a fantastic tractor, but one thing it is not is comfortable. I have been suffering with my LED Light brackets cracking due to the vibration that is rampant on the machine (canopy bolted to frame, canopy solid metal). I have been re-wedling and tinkering and finally last night it dawned on me that maybe I should try to put a rubber gasket between the bracket and the canopy.

So is this a good idea? Is there a better one? I seem to be replacing these brackets every year or two...

i would suggest heavier duty brackets first.thing to improve it
