I looked into possibly getting a split window to "restore" after having my '65 for a while. Let's face it, that car is what every car and non car person thinks of when looking at the mid year Vettes. One thing I read and found after getting mine is to buy the absolute best car you can afford because fixing them up isn't a good value. ie, spark plug wires...$100, New old stock power antenna...$1000, Unrestored origonal knock off wheels...$5000+, Restored numbers matching carburator...$1200 and the list goes on. The reason I bring this up is that the '63 is worse than the lot. Being the first of that style there are a lot of parts that were one year only. All of these parts cost drastically more than the same part for the other four years. I just found this interesting. Oh yeah, and there is the rule of 4. The best values in Vettes that for some reason do poorly in price...'54, '64, '74, '84 and the jury is still out on the '94. But I babble..../w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
